Right now the tour coordinators (2cyber71, Norman1 and mhyblom) are trying to determine how many folks would be interested in these tours. Below is a brief "tentative" description of each tour and approximate cost per person. The Ghost Tour and Battlefield Tours are FILLED. You can still make reservation for the Harley Tour.
Most likely the bus will depart from the Drummer Boy Campground. The tour is scheduled for Saturday, May 21st and the specific time has not yet been determined. This "FREE" tour is being organized by Scott (Norman1) for a visit to the Harley Davidson Factory in nearby York, Pennsylvania. York is a 30 mile drive from Drummer Boy Campground. The tour is being planned for Friday, May 20th, 9:00 am at the factory. The tour is "FREE" but they will not admit children ages 12 and under. For more details about this tour click here. This is a walking tour that takes approximately 1 hour to complete. The tentative cost is $7 plus tax per person, children 7 and under free. Those who have signed up for the Ghost Tour must go
the the office of "Ghosts of Gettysburg Candlelight Walking Tours" by
8:00 pm on Friday to pay for their tickets. When they pay for their
tickets they will also be given directions to the meeting place for
where the tour will begin PROMPTLY at 9 pm on Friday. Attendees should
be to the meeting place by 8:45 to insure that they are on time.
